2nd Phase Project of IIUM Forest of ‘Ilm

The second phase project of IIUM Forest of ‘Ilm has been successfully conducted from 1 st June 2024 until 31 December 2025. This project is aimed at developing the forest as a versatile living lab that could be also benefited by a wider community.

The Forest Walk @IIUM Forest of ‘Ilm 2026 programme took place on May15 and 16, 2026 to celebrate the 25 th Anniversary of the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy and the International Day of Forests 2026.

Scientific Exhibtion

IIUM Forest of ‘Ilm also participated in scientific exhibitions and events, including STEM Day at CFS, Gambang on 30 November 2024 and Prof. Dr. Alfi’s Professorial Talk at the Office of the Campus Director, IIUM Kuantan on 5 December 2024.

Scientific Visits for Plant Documentation and Research

Scientific visits are regularly conducted for plant documentation and research. Interestingly, different species were flowering and fruiting at different seasons throughout the year while certain species were seen heavily bloomed for the first time since the initiation of the IIUM Forest of ‘Ilm project.
