IIUM Forest of ‘Ilm has been successfully launched on 9 November 2023 by the Deputy Campus Director (Academic Support Services), Prof. Dr. Shamsul Draman on behalf of the Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Dr. Dzulkifli Abdul Razak
The training was conducted on 22 September 2022 with the aim to expose the participants with the principles and techniques in phytochemical screening of plant extracts. Twenty four extracts of selected plant species of the forest were screened and mostly were positive for saponins, alkaloids and triterpene/steroid. Previous Next
Herbarium voucher specimens are preserved plant specimens that serve as a verifiable and permanent record of species for scientific purposes.
