General information:

Knema glauca is an evergreen tree with a light, open canopy; it can grow from 5 – 30 metres tall. The bole can be free of branches for up to half its height, stilt roots up to 1 metre tall are sometimes present. The tree is harvested from the wild for its seed and timber [2].
