General information:

Habitat It grows in forests in the lowlands to hills up to about 760 m altitude.It is a tree up to 31 m tall.

Distinguish botanical characteristics:

Foliage: Its alternate, shortly-stalked leaves have leaf blades that are elliptic to oblong, and 12–25 by 4–10 cm.
Flowers:Its 5–10 cm-wide flowers have greenish-yellow petals with a reddish-yellow spot near the base.
Fruits: Each flower produces 1–3, somewhat round, and 4–7 cm-wide fruits that each contains about ten seeds.
